'eco-lit' is along the lines of some of what I want to write. Savanna, a girl on my bus tour, is planning to go into creative nonfiction for environmental writing.
she had all kinds of reading suggestions. her favorite is edward abbey, I think, and botany of desire, and kingsolver and...hmmm...well, she had other suggestions, but those were two that stuck out.
